Can’t resist

Again, thanks to a reader that tipped me off to the latest rumors about Sarah Palin. This is the best account I’ve seen, though it’s also covered at Buzzflash.

There are a number of things about the story that lend credence to the speculation, the picture at the linked article being one. Another is the fact that she allegedly broke her water in Texas and flew to Alaska to have the baby, rather than have it in Texas, like any normal person would do. She would have to be in Alaska during the time of the birth, of course, and it is possible she was notified while at the conference that her daughter was about to have the baby.

All of this is totally wild speculation at this point, but so much fun.

Update: I figured it was too good to be true.

RE: the update. There are simpler ways to prove that you are the mother of your own child, other than to bring out a story about your 17 year old, which may or may not prove anything, depending on how pregnant she truly is at present. How about just releasing hospital records?

Whether or not Governor Palin is the mother of the baby, she made one of the most irresponsible decisions an expecting mother can possibly make. Her water broke, she was leaking, she did not seek medical attention, she made her speech and after, instead of seeking any local medical attention, she travels halfway across the globe to Alaska without telling anyone on the airplane of her condition and even then she does not seek nearby Alaskan medical attention, but travels an hour to a doctor/hospital(?). This appears to be FACT and is thus a win-win for Democrats and they should hit it hard. If these are the kind of decisions an expecting mother makes for their Downs Syndrome child (and no mother I’ve talked to would do anything like this), then how can she make even remotely rational decisions as VP or President? Democrats should not let this go, and who knows, it might not be her child afterall.
