{"id":205,"date":"2007-06-25T19:12:42","date_gmt":"2007-06-26T00:12:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ctblueblog.com\/?p=205"},"modified":"2007-06-25T19:12:42","modified_gmt":"2007-06-26T00:12:42","slug":"connections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ctblueblog.com\/?p=205","title":{"rendered":"Connections"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two articles from Thinkprogress came across in my newsreader today, one after the other:<\/p>\n<p>In the first we learn that <a href=\"http:\/\/thinkprogress.org\/2007\/06\/25\/king-paris-moore\/\">CNN has dumped an interview with Michael Moore in order to broadcast an interview with Paris Hilton<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the second, we learn that <a href=\"http:\/\/thinkprogress.org\/2007\/06\/25\/41\/\">41% of the people in this country still believe that Saddam Hussein was directly involved in the events of 9\/11<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe if CNN spent as much time spreading the truth about 9\/11 as it does spreading the vital word on Paris that 41% number would go down a bit. How can we really blame all these people for believing a fiction when many of them have never been exposed to the truth?
