Obama wins Vermont

I am mostly taking the night off tonight, to monitor the results and also because I have nothing to say. I am happy to see that Obama won in the Republic of Vermont by almost 2 to 1. My wife says that it is possible that Obama could have a net gain in delegates from Vermont greater than either candidate will net in Ohio.

In any event, I can now say that both my home state and my home state by purchase, so to speak (we own property there, much to my regret most of the time) have gone Obama, the only two New England states to do so, though Rhode Island has not yet spoken.

OOPS (Update): I forgot about my other New England home state, the Great State of Maine, where I went to college. It also went for Obama. And as I write this, I learn that Rhode Island has spoken, and gone for Hillary. So there is a definite pattern in this, the most enlightened part of the country. Every New England State with which I have a connection has gone for Obama. That must mean something.
