Things have been a bit slow at work lately. As I cruised the net during some down time I came across David Byrne’s blog, from which I followed a few links and discovered that My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, an album he did paired with Brian Eno, is now available in a remastered and improved (by the authors) edition. Somewhere along the way I lost my copy of what is one of the greatest albums of all time, so I will be getting the new version soon.
This stuff is not to everyone’s taste, so be warned.
One would not expect a concert video from this album. However, a filmmaker named Bruce Conner made some authorized videos in the early ’80s. Bear in mind this music was made before the age of computers. Here’s America is Waiting:
